Delaware Flight Schools

If you are looking into choosing a Delaware flight school, there are a few schools from which you can choose. As you evaluate the schools, consider exactly what you want to gain from your schooling. Having this in mind can help you as you begin to decide which school may be best for you.

There are a few such schools in Delaware. Flight schools in the northeast area of the country are pretty prevalent, but not quite as much in the tiny state of Delaware. Below is a list of some of the Delaware schools.

· Delaware Aviation Center, LLC – Delaware Aviation Center is considered the leading flight training center in the New Castle, Delaware area. The school is located at the New Castle Airport in the upstairs level of the Atlantic Aviation Building.

Although the New Castle Airport certainly is not considered a large airport, the teaching and learning environment is more relaxed because there is not the same hustle and bustle you might experience at a large metropolitan airport. Even though the settings are more relaxed, this does not mean that the training is sub par in any way.

· Phill-Air, Inc. – If you are interested in learning on the fly (no pun intended), then perhaps there is no better Delaware flight school to study at than Phill-Air, Inc. If you decide to become a student at this school, you will have the opportunity to learn to fly at the state’s busiest and largest airport. Not only is the Delaware Air Park the premier airport in Delaware, but it is also just the right size. It is not so big that it overwhelms new pilots, but big enough to offer real-life training.

One of the convenient aspects of this school is the fact that the school’s teachers and organizers are able to adapt their schedules around yours. Often, those who are seeking certification or to learn new flight-related things have other jobs that they need to be at throughout the day. Thanks to the flexibility in courses and class times offered at this Delaware flight school, non-traditional students have the opportunity to attend classes, even if they are not able to in the middle of the day.

The school also doubles as a maintenance facility. This can be helpful for student pilots because they will be able to get a close-up look at exactly what it is that happens in the plane’s engine to ensure that the plane takes flight. This school is located in Dover, which is home to a large portion of the state’s population.

This list may not be an all-inclusive list of every Delaware flight school, but it does give you a good idea of the kinds of schools you may be able to find within the state, despite its size.
