New Jersey Flight Schools

Raritan Valley Flying School is a New Jersey flight school that has been in operation since 1973. Raritan operates out of the Princeton Airport and has provided flight training for the Air Force ROTC-Rutgers and Princeton, veteran’s training, Marine Platoon Leaders program, and Mercer County Community College, just to name a few. Raritan teaches the Jeppesen Guided Flight Discover curriculum using 8-10 full and part-time flight instructors and a large fleet of Cessnas.
The Philadelphia Flight Academy operates out of Cross Keys Airport in Williamstown, NJ. Philadelphia’s flight certification programs include private pilot, instrument rating, commercial pilot, multi-engine commercial, CFI, CFII, MEI, and Airline Transport Professional. They offer flight training in  single and multi-engine turboprop planes including the Cessna Caravan C208, Cessna Grand Caravan C208B, DeHaviland Twin Otter DHC-6-300, and helicopter training in the Alouette II Turbine helicopter.

Air Fleet Training Systems is another high-tech New Jersey flight school operating out of the Teterboro and Linden airports in northeast NJ. Air Fleet has established a reputation for having late-model aircraft and for being a Part 141, FAA-approved flight school since 1991. The 15 flight instructors offer a full curriculum of instructional ground and flight courses from instructor certificates, and Private Pilot through Transport Pilot.
