Virginia flight school

A Virginia flight school can be the ideal place to train for a pilot’s license. Specifically for those people who are prospective pilots that live in the southern part of the United States. One Virginia school, Horizon Flight Center offers training for all types of airplane licenses and certifications.

To train to become a pilot at a Virginia flight school you will need to meet a few basic requirements. One is a medical exam that is required by the FAA. The other is the minimum age for a student and the minimum age for a pilot. For a student it is 16 and for a pilot it is 17.

When a student trains at a Virginia flight school they have the opportunity to obtain a private or commercial pilot’s license. Some schools, like Horizon Flight Center, offer flight instruction, classroom time, and computer based instruction. Costs for a license are usually by the hour and they can vary according to the instructor and the school that you choose.
